Hunter M. A. Carr has been an entrepreneur creating his own space in public life from last 40 years. He started his first business - HMH, Inc., at the age of 20, 1968. HMH was a collection company with a contact to do all of Montgomery Wards outside collection work.
Hunter Carr was a college student at University of Texas at Arlington. He was working part time at night time for Wards. When Hunter realized that Wards was having trouble keeping outside collectors, he went to the manager of the collection department and proposed to take over their collection on a contract basis. The manager agreed and within 6 months Hunter had 23 employees, mostly college students who were collecting Montgomery Wards bills all over the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.

Presently, Hunter M. A. Carr with his partner Donald W. Sapaugh works with Recap Marketing and Consulting, Ltd., which provides recapitalization to small and medium sized businesses. They develop successful strategies for the management of companies so they can increase shareholder equity.
